stupid flu virus! arghh.. so many break means i need to taste my food.
THank GOd is not serious.
reading a book is about this Kanyan Boy whose name is SAFARI.so amazed by his courage n strength, the will to carry on! He underwent surgery to treat horrific burns.
when he was younger. wrapped in a sarong. his sister put him near a kerosene candle n went out of the hut to do some stuffs. BUT a breath of wind blew the edge of the material across the flame n within seconds his entire left side was alight, melting the delicate skin of his tiny body.
i just cannot imagine the pain that he went through n medical facilities is not advanced at all in that rural area of AFrica.
Miraculously, SAfari survived.
Later, some AUstralians heard about him n raised funds to bring him over for surgeries. he underwent 14 operations over 12 months in AUstralia. after the first major operation: he murmured:'i won't cry mamma'
SUper inspiring.i am so much better off leaving in this developed country.at least when i am hungry i have edible food n not resolved to SAND or some grass or leaves.
i really need to count my blessings..
recalled that day where i scalded my thumb i teared for so like 20 mins.. sup-er lousy.. gal, u have to be stronger than this.
